Most small brands, channels and profiles start with a text logo: the name in a good font, one or two colours, maybe a shape behind it. That is exactly what this tool makes. Type the name, choose a font that fits the tone - geometric sans for tech, serif for something established, script for something personal - and decide whether the letters sit on their own or inside a rounded badge, a pill or a circle.

A logo is one word done properly, so the gradient text png and 3d text png presets are worth trying before you settle on it.

The result is a PNG at double resolution with a transparent background outside the shape, so it drops onto a website header, a social profile or a video intro without editing. It is not a replacement for a designed brand identity, but it is a clean placeholder that does not look like one.

How to make a Text Logo PNG Maker

  1. Type the brand or channel name. Two words on two lines also works - press Enter between them.
  2. Pick a font. Montserrat, Poppins and Raleway are neutral and modern; Playfair Display and Cinzel feel established; Pacifico and Lobster feel friendly.
  3. Choose the text colour and the badge colour, then pick a badge shape - or none for a plain wordmark.
  4. Add an outline if the logo has to work on both light and dark backgrounds.
  5. Download PNG. Export a second version with different colours for dark mode.
